Wedding Bells at Interactive Return

Google Expected to Pocket 25% of Online Ad Revenue in 2006

Google will account for twenty-five percent of all online ad revenue. Google's share continues to increase (65% increase YoY) while Yahoo's growth continues to decrease, says eMarketer. Read more of the article from eMarketer.

Print Execs Blame Woes on Web

Ad revenue was down in the third quarter for several US top newspapers, including those owned by The New York Times Company and the Tribune Company. Executives blamed advertising revenue drops on competition in the classified marketplace from Internet publications and consolidation in the department store sector. Read more.

AOL to Focus on Ad Revenue in Europe

Yahoo! Launches New Search Ad Platform

Yahoo! announced last week that the company's long-awaited new ad-serving platform, known as Panama, had gone live. The company has started asking U.S. advertisers to switch to the new system, and that it would invite more to upgrade through the early part of 2007. Read more.
